Who I Am

David Van Realty is a Franklin-based real estate practice led by me, principal and affiliate broker David Van Steenkiste. I serve Middle Tennessee buyers, sellers, and investors with a focus on homes and land, using my Tennessee real estate license and real-world investor background to guide every decision.

How I Started

I entered real estate in 2012 as a house flipper, then spent years building rentals and completing well over 300 land deals. That experience taught me how to see risk, value, and potential in both homes and acreage, long before I ever represented clients as a licensed broker in Middle Tennessee.

Why It Matters

Today I focus on residential homes and land south of Nashville, bringing an engineering mindset to pricing, evaluation, and negotiation. I still serve, fish, travel, and enjoy life here, which means my advice reflects how people actually live in these communities, not just what looks good on a spreadsheet.
